April 30, 2009 (FPRC) -- LaFollette, TN: Lunchtime is going hi-tech with the May launch of LunchTimeExpress.com, the brainchild of an East Tennessee man. According to owner, Pete Egeler of LaFollette, TN, Lunch Time Express is a way for business folks to find out what’s on the menu around their area.
'I’ve been there, done that’, said Egeler, ‘and it gets real boring eating in the same place day in and day out. In most cases you don’t have the luxury of time to go elsewhere in the hopes you can find a place you like.'
Egeler said the new website has two great advantages for workers, as well as for area restaurants.
For the folks that go out for lunch, they can get updates on area restaurants via the website, by daily email, on Twitter, and if approved by their business, they can request a daily fax be sent to the office as a whole.
Restaurants can use the website to advertise their daily specials, or just pull a couple of items off their standard menu to share with folks. In addition, it gives the restaurant owner a whole new, affordable method of connecting with a new group of customers that may never have visited their establishment before.
'We’re shooting for a formal launch of the website the last week in May,’ says Egeler. 'And, we’re offering restaurants the opportunity to test the waters at no charge for the entire month.'
The Lunch Time Express concept will also be offered to budding entrepreneurs
that would like to set up their own licensed Lunch Time Express business in their area.
