Attorney R. Steven Peters received his law degree from Western State University College of Law in 1975. That same year he was admitted to the California State Bar Association, the U. S. District Court Central District of California as well as the U. S. Court of Appeals 9th Circuit. He gained admission to the U. S. Supreme Court in 1989. Currently Mr. Peters is a member in good standing of the American Trial Lawyers Association as well as the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association. In addition he is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California.

Attorney R. Steven Peters got married in 2008. In his spare time he enjoys collecting stamps, coins and doing photography. Mr. Peters also enjoys fine wines and is an avid exotic car enthusiast. In addition, he is an animal rights advocate and donates to numerous 'no kill' animal shelters and related groups and organizations. Mr. Peters is a native of the Los Angeles area.
