October 13, 2009 (FPRC) -- According to the results of a poll carried out by the leading dog lovers dating site www.doglover.biz 72.73% of its members who voted would travel to the ends of the earth to find love.
Of the remainder 9.09% would travel anywhere within their own country, 9.09% within their own state and 9.09% would stick to their home town. Derek Collinson, who founded www.doglover.biz 4 years ago, believes that this shows that his dog lover members are very romantic. He also believes that www.doiglover.biz is a better choice for dog lovers seeking soul mates than one of the big mainstream online dating sites.
He added 'Ok I know that the big mainstream dating sites have a million members or more and we have thousands but it doesn’t follow that a dog lover will stand a better chance of finding a dog loving soul mate on one of the big dating sites. Trying to find a dog lover, especially a male dog lover, on one of the big dating sites can be very difficult. It’s hard enough finding a woman who mentions she loves dogs on one of those sites. And many men are reluctant to admit they love dogs because they think this admission makes them appear effeminate.
Since the majority of true dog lovers will not date someone who isn’t a dog lover then really they stand a much better chance of finding a dog loving soul mate on our dating site since all our members are dog lovers. True, they may not find their dog lover soul mate in their own home town, but since our poll shows that the vast majority will travel to the ends of the earth to find love then really that doesn’t matter.
