October 12, 2009 (FPRC) -- LA QUINTA, CA -- Released on October 12, a new survey created by Army.net aims to discover what Army hopefuls find appealing about the military, their concerns about joining the military, and what they want or expect from joining the armed forces.

Army.net, a leading resource for Army jobs and information, plans to use the information to develop the most comprehensive database of information for those considering the Army, Navy, or other military branch as a career.

"Our goal is to provide the most valuable, unbiased information available to those considering the a job in the Armed Forces. If we know what people are thinking, we can relate to them better," said Larry Fowler of Army.net.

Anyone considering joining the Army or other military branch is invited to take the seven-question multiple-choice survey anonymously. The survey can be accessed online at:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=68NyQzwvfYQorAeQabDfmA_3d_3d

The survey asks questions such as 'What are your primary questions or concerns about joining the military?' and 'What are your primary concerns about joining the military?'

By asking and reaching out to those thinking about joining the military, Army.net hopes to use the data gathered in future informational materials addressing general issues, concerns and questions.

"Getting to know what people want is the first step and addressing their questions is the end goal. You can’t get there without putting one foot forward. That’s what we’re trying to do here,” Fowler continued.

For those interested in learning more about the health care Army.net has also published an informational report titled " Considering the Army? A Guide To The Unmatched Military Medical Benefits" available at: http://hubpages.com/hub/Considering-the-Army-A-Guide-To-The-Unmatched-Military-Medical-Benefits.
