CAMO Software appoints BioImages Ltd as agent for Ireland & United Kingdom

CAMO Software announces the appointment of BioImages Ltd as a strategic business partner based in Ireland.

October 13, 2009 (FPRC) -- Oslo, Norway : CAMO Software, a leading supplier of multivariate analysis (MVA) and Design of Experiments (DoE) software, today announced an agreement with BioImages Ltd, a well established scientific equipment and service provider to the Irish and UK markets, for the sale and support of CAMO products.

About Bio-Images Ltd


BioImages Ltd was founded in 2007 in Ireland and is a supplier of instrumentation to the biotech, brewing, food, environmental and water industries in Ireland and the United Kingdom. BioImages Ltd is involved in the implementation of on-line biomass monitors and multi-fermentors, sampling systems, flow injection analysis systems, bio-molecular analysers and continuous flow centrifuge products for cell harvesting.
BioImages Ltd is a client of Enterprise Ireland having obtained funding for market research and technical feasibility studies. Through this funding the need for automated sampling systems for bioprocessing was identified and a proof of concept model was developed.

Currently BioImages Ltd is involved in a BioPAT project which is being coordinated by Enterprise Ireland, with funding of €2.3 million over three years and focuses on Process Analytical Technology (PAT) for bio-manufacturing. BioImages Ltd together with other Irish SME’s provide technology and services to the bio-industry including Wyeth, Centocor, Genzyme, Pfizer, Schering Plough, Eli Lilly and Elan along with UCD, DCU, the National Institute of Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT) and the Tyndall National Institute at UCD. BioImages Ltd is working closely with the project’s engineering partner ABB which is the global power and automation systems provider.
