New Army.net Twitter Stream Offers News and Information For Army and Navy Recruits

Army.net has launched a new Twitter stream for quick access to informational articles, military resources, and real media depicting life in the military.

October 13, 2009 (FPRC) -- LA QUINTA, CA – Army.net, a leading informational resource for those considering a career in the US Army, announces the launch of its new Twitter account designed to deliver news, information, and military-centered entertainment.

Powered by US Military.com, the USAForces Twitter stream can be accessed at http://twitter.com/usaforces. Twitter users are invited to follow the Twitter stream for up to get instant access to new articles published on Army.net and Navy.org. Those who do not yet have a twitter account can sign up for free to gain access to the Twitter stream.

"People today are busier and more inundated with information than ever before. The goal of our Twitter stream is to provide a single access point to the most pertinent information for those considering the military. We also have a little bit of fun," said Larry Fowler of Army.net.

The USAForces Twitter stream offers links to quality information news articles of interest to the potential recruit including benefits information, military pay, military housing, Army jobs, Navy jobs, and career planning information. In addition to information designed to help potential recruits make decisions on career paths, subscribers will also find links to the more humorous side of military life with videos of soldiers in their off time.

"The military is a lifestyle choice. Our goal is to provide people with solid information about life and work in the military to help others discover the path that is best for them," concluded Fowler.
