October 23, 2009 (FPRC) -- CONCORD, CALIFORNIA. Frankie Mae Tyson from Gary, Indiana grew up a few blocks from world entertainer, Michael Joseph Jackson. She never doubted her future with the Superstar. Was Frankie Mae’s relationship with world superstar Michael Jackson fact or fiction?

Readers love mystery and this is an earth-shattering book about unrequited love written in the fast pace of entertainer Michael Jackson’s interesting and often turbulent life. Mitchell has taken the whole business of writing into the kitchen, cooking up a story that will have everyone asking the question is this ground-beef or steak? Did the 'The King of Pop' keep a secret in his past that has never been told? Just when you thought you have heard it all about Michael Jackson, here comes Frankie Mae, a high school dropout a self-described ghetto rat who in her own words looks like rapper 'Lil Wayne' on her best day!

Expunged from high-school by bullies in 1973, for not being able to name a Jackson tune, it’s the 80’s and Frankie is headed up north on the Santa Monica freeway when she actually meets MJ fulfilling her life-long dream. Fact or fiction Carol Denise Mitchell is at her best! Fans are going to love the way Frankie Mae keeps her love affair with Michael Jackson simple, mean, sometimes insane and surreal.

'When I began reading The Love He saved, I looked back to see if it was based on fact. This book is a work of fiction yet it reads like nonfiction. Frankie’s language bothered me a bit at first. It leans toward street slang. However, the language is necessary for it helps define the character. While on the surface author Carol Denise Mitchell appears to be writing about Jackson, this book is actually a character study of Frankie.' I suspect the author will be pleased that she had me guessing and analyzing this much. Frankie Mae’s obsession for Jackson makes the most plausible part of this plot. Carol Mitchell is a talented author and her characters are very life-like. Remember the name Carol Denise Mitchell.
