French Wines Coming to the UK for the First Time
A brand new concept has taken the U.K wine market by storm this week as a London company makes sure small-batch French wines are no longer exclusively for the French.

Oscar Majurin, Managing Director of ViniferaBoutique.com says “I love to make new discoveries. Some of these wines are specific to certain areas of France, and are very rarely seen outside of the country. My aim is to bring these wonderful wines to the U.K so that more people can enjoy them. New wines will be added to the site on a weekly basis, and there will be limited stock, so they might not be around for long!”
Many of the wines featured on the site have never been seen in the U.K before. Wine connoisseurs have shown great encouragement for the scheme, which brings great wines to ordinary people. Rather than being inundated by unlimited choice, consumers can now enjoy fine wines without extensive knowledge or wine club membership.
The vineyards featured will be less well known including the likes of organic, natural and even biodynamic producers. Using Vinifera Boutique consumers will be offered these wines at very close to the same price as if they had bought them directly, resulting in far better value for money as they are paying for quality without the premium of a well known, mass produced brand.
The website, created by Cyber-Duck, features hand illustrated graphics and advice on the wines along with details of each vineyard and an easy to use interface.
For the first month, Vinifera is offering new customers £10 discount on their first order, along with free delivery on any order size. Customers can use the code ‘VINLAUNCH’ to get this special discount.
The long term goal for the website is to transform it into a portal for vineyards to market their own wine, with consumers being able to access recommendations and varieties that would otherwise be unavailable.
