The website’s latest product is the military countdown widget that can be used on blogs and websites by Army personnel and their family and friends.
The new military countdown widget is designed to make an Army or Navy countdown more fun by sharing it with others via personal websites or blogs. It is a free widget available for Army personnel looking to share their journey with family and friends. A military employee’s family and friends can also use it to count down to when their loved one returns home or even when they graduate from boot camp. The military widget can be used for any military countdown.
The military countdown widget has been designed and developed by the team at Army.net, a leading US Army website providing career advice, military information, and other Army and Navy related products and services. The website not only provides useful information on military job opportunities, but also provides innovative Army related products and services and organizes Army contests and competitions.

Adding the military countdown widget to a personal blog or website is easy and can be done with little or no HTML knowledge. After selecting a date and a custom message, the website generates the code that is then copied and pasted onto the website. The widget counts down, displaying days, hours, minutes, and seconds until the day of the event chosen.
“Army personnel and their families can display this widget on a personal blog or website, and can involve several people in the count down to this important day in their lives. Waiting by yourself is always hard, but when your loved ones are counting down with you, it definitely becomes less stressful,” concludes Fowler.
