November 25, 2009 (FPRC) -- Key West, FL - Lisa Malcom has launched Viakeywest.com, a new Web site promoting unique island themed gifts inspired by Key West art, history, culture and characters. It's the place to find new and old treasures, from hard-to-find, one-of-a-kind jewelry to stunning photography, paintings, and handcrafted goods made by artists in Key West and around the world. The online galleries of Via Key West are designed to make finding the best gifts from Florida a breeze.
Some of the artists include Donna Barnett’s Wearable Bamboo Art, Laurel Denney’s Beaded Jewelry, Marci McGee’s 'Kitty Kat Collection.' Other works of art include the colorful watercolor paintings of Christine Cordone Smith.

Unique gifts for everyone, the website includes a gallery with a variety of Key West Island Bath Salts by Michael Fatica, fine gifts made from exotic woods from Costa Rica, tropical treats including Key Lime Fudge and one of Oprah’s Favorites from 2004 – Key Lime Bundt Cake. Local authors and Key West characters also added to the collection of gifts, including David Sloan and Christopher Shultz’s “Quit Your Job and Move to Key West,“ Mandy Bolen's 'Tan Lines,' Terry Schmida's 'True Crime Stories,' and a collection of Yankee Jack's CDs.

"Key West is filled with so many colorful characters, history and museums -- I wanted to create a website that gave these talented, creative artisans a place to promote their work to the world," said Lisa Malcom, Owner of Viakeywest.com. "We also included unique gifts that were not created by Key West artists, simply because they inspired us in one way or another."

The website is continually updated with new offerings from Key West musicians and artisans. Malcom stated she is also always on the lookout for artwork with a Key West flair. "We want to encourage people to shop Via Key West for unique affordable holiday gifts," said Malcom.

About Via Key West:
Via Key West is an online gallery featuring hand-crafted gifts with a Key West flair. The website is designed to cater to clients looking for quality gifts from Florida.
