December 16, 2009 (FPRC) -- ATLANTA, GA - Brooklyn is a 7 year old student from Atlanta, GA. One day while her mother was preparing to watch one of the Presidential debates, Brooklyn asked 'didn't we watch a debate before?' Her mother responded yes..., it takes a lot to become the President. Brooklyn who was working on a maze, 'added it's like this maze, Mr. Obama is on one side and the White House is on the other and he has to make it through the maze to get to the White House.' She drew the maze. From there she along with her mother decided to do an activity book so kids could learn about the President while having fun. Brooklyn chose her favorite activities and they created some unique one's as well. Brooklyn's favorites are the paper dolls.
Since the release of her book, Brooklyn receives email and letters daily from other kids and parents congratulating her and letting her know how inspiring she is to them.
Barack Obama Activity & Coloring Book (also available in Spanish) is a 55 page completely custom drawn activity and coloring book. This is a fabulous coloring and activity book. It reminds me of all the best things from the Highlights Magazine (the best part of going to the dentist). Not only is there the story of who Barack Obama is, but the entire book is about him and his charming family, instead of only a couple of pages, as was the case in a different Obama coloring book I bought. It would be a very cool keepsake of this historical time, so buy one for yourself and one for all the kids in your life!

ABOUT BROOKLYN
Brooklyn is a gifted second grade student. When tested at the age of 5 she read on a 4th grade level. Brooklyn was placed in first grade instead of Kindergarten. Brooklyn loves to read, write and play sports. She is currently researching recycling and 'going green' for her next and first story book. Brooklyn inspires to be an author, actress, doctor, lawyer, drummer and a basketball and tennis player.
