December 29, 2009 (FPRC) -- Louisville, KY -- Ekumene M. Lysonge has accepted a position as Senior Director with Churchill Downs Incorporated (“Churchill Downs” “CDI” or “Company”) (NASDAQ: CHDN). Mr. Lysonge will assume his role with CDI effective January 4, 2010 at the Churchill Downs Racetrack in Louisville, KY (Home of the Kentucky Derby). In his new position, Mr. Lysonge will be responsible for various on-site operational concerns and state governmental affairs issues. Prior to joining CDI, Mr. Lysonge was a Vice President with the Pedcor Companies, a mid-sized developer of low-income tax credit and retail projects, in Carmel, Indiana. Mr. Lysonge also previously held attorney positions with the Simon Property Group, the largest US REIT, and Baker & Daniels, LLP, an AmLaw 200 rated law firm headquartered in Indianapolis, IN.
