January 12, 2010 (FPRC) -- David Gallagher, CEO of Dominion Payroll Services, said the company is pleased with their results for the year, but more so with the Richmond, Virginia business community.
“Every business has had to make new strategies and game plans to stay afloat in this economy,” Mr. Gallagher remarked, “and David [Fratkin, President of Dominion Payroll Services] and I knew that continuing DPS’s focus on supplying dependable service to local businesses would be the strongest approach.”
Mr. Gallagher said their strategy has paid off, and attributed the success to the loyalty of Richmond-area businesses.
“The reason DPS is in business is because we strive for excellent customer service, and the community has responded positively in the face of budgets cuts.” Mr. Gallagher added. “I’m proud to do business in a city that values service.”
Dominion Payroll Services also announced their plan to expand their product offering. Mr. Gallagher said the payroll industry is evolving, and DPS will be presenting new products to advance the automation of payroll and human resource services.
The company has prepared for the additional services by achieving further accreditation, as well as increasing their staff. Mauri Whitehurst, CPA and Dominion Payroll Services’ Head Systems Coordinator, became a Certified Payroll Professional in 2009. DPS has expanded their implementation team to ensure successful starts for their new clients.
“We’ve done our homework, and we’re adding to our team.” Mr. Gallagher added. “Dominion Payroll Services is ready for another successful year.”
