Key West's leading center for scuba diving and snorkeling excursions, the Key West Dive Center, is now offering Keys visitors exclusive private charters for both snorkeling and diving trips

January 20, 2010 (FPRC) -- Visitors and large groups coming to Key West Florida this season can now take advantage of the top-quality customer service provided by the Key West Dive Center on an exclusive snorkeling or scuba diving private charter. For groups as small as 10 and as large as 60, the center is now offering its famous Key West diving trips in private charters.

Complete with all gear and equipment for either a Key West snorkeling excursion or a diving excursion, the center's private charters are meant for groups who want to experience these one-of-a-kind Key West tours in private setting. These private charters are great for celebrations like anniversaries, birthday parties, and weddings, or for any large group gathering such as reunions or corporate events.

Like the regular Key West diving and snorkeling excursions, the private charters last approximately three and a half hours. Unlike regular trips, however, the destination and details of the trip are entirely up to guests on board. Many recent private charters have combined both snorkeling and Key West diving in order to accommodate both certified divers and snorkelers. Trips typically head out to one or two stops along the extensive Key West coral reef system, though a trip with advanced divers can also go to one of the shipwreck sites.

The talented and helpful Key West diving crew will also be on board to make sure everything runs smoothly. Drinks and snacks are provided on certain private charters, but guests are always welcome to bring what they want on board.

"Snorkeling private charters have become really popular as of late," says Todd Delange of the Key West Dive Center. "It used to be that people only did private charters for sunset trips, but now more and more visitors are seeing the perks of going on a more active and exciting type of trip which is what a Key West snorkeling trip provides."

Private charters for diving Key West trips, snorkeling, or a combination of both are highly exclusive. Reservations on a private charter should be made several weeks in advance. Pricing and included amenities vary by trip. Contact the Key West Dive Center at 866-563-1805 to find out more information from a Key West diving expert.
