March 29, 2010 (FPRC) -- Sassy Scrubs, an Upstate New York manufacturer and e-tailer of custom medical scrubs and hospital uniforms, was recently featured in a book compiled by an American author. Bruce Wolk’s research for American made products for children led him to Sassy Scrubs.
The book, “Made Here, Baby!” is a guide to more than 400 American manufacturers of toys, games, apparel, baby gear and more. Parents use this resource to help them find quality, locally made products, built with kids in mind. Sassy Scrubs’ custom garment line includes Kids Scrubs, which are a miniature, contemporary version of adult nursing and doctor scrub uniforms and fit right into the them and purpose of Wolk’s book.
In an interview with Company President Karen Bradley, author Wolk mentioned that while doing research for his book, he had heard about Sassy Scrubs “through the grapevine”. Representatives of other companies that he had spoken with had taken the time to mention Sassy Scrubs to Wolk. With the scrubs e-tailer’s reputation of “Made in America”, and production of Kids Scrubs, they were a perfect fit for Wolk’s guide.
“We are honored to be included in such a valuable guide for American parents” states Bradley, “and we’re especially proud to be able to produce our uniforms right here in the USA.”
