Demon’s Cycle Pleased That Unfair Vertical License Plate Law Has Been Amended; Announces New Side Mount License Plate Brackets

Two years ago Demon’s Cycle raised awareness of a new law passed in Florida that prohibits motorcyclists from mounting their license plates vertically. Motorcyclists, even those from out of state, who didn't comply with the new regulations could be fined $1000, a most severe fine for something as simple as a license plate. With the changing of the law, Demon's Cycle are announcing a new line of horizontal and vertical billet side mount license plate brackets.

April 13, 2010 (FPRC) -- Demon's Cycle Inc., a custom motorcycle company in Florida, has responded to the news that the Florida state vertical license plate law, which was passed in October 2008, has been amended. Previously Florida banned all vertical license plates not only on motorcycles being driven in the state but also to parked motorcycles meaning that many custom motorcycles were in violation of the law even when not used. Recently Governor Charlie Crist signed an amendment making vertical license plates legal again.

Demon's Cycle are very happy about this new amendment and see it as a victory for justice and for motorcyclists in Florida and across America. Not only was the law itself unnecessary but it was unfair. The initial fine for having a vertical number plate was almost double that of someone driving at twice the posted speed limit or speeding through a school zone. This gave rise to concerns that the Florida lawmakers were less worried about safety issues and more occupied with trying to make a quick buck from bikers.

“When we made an announcement about this outrageous new law, all we wanted was to warn Florida bikers and keep them out of trouble” said Tom Steinbacher CEO of Demon's Cycle Inc., “but the outrage and efforts of many activists helped to overturn this rule. What a great outcome!”

Demon’s Cycle would like to thank all the motorcyclist rights activists and supporters who helped to get rid of this unfair and discriminatory law. Now that biker's ability to customize the looks of their custom motorcycles is no longer under fire, Demon's Cycle are introducing a new line of horizontal and vertical billet side mount license plate brackets. These wonderful custom brackets are of top quality and come complete with LED brake lights. Demon’s prices and policies, unlike Florida lawmakers, are fair and customer satisfaction is guaranteed.
