April 14, 2010 (FPRC) -- MARIETTA, GA - The online tarp superstore, MyTarp.com, has expanded its canvas tarps and canvas fabrics inventory to include more canvas tarps, duck canvas tarps as well as canvas fabric colors.
Canvas tarps are made from 100% cotton fabric and are both breathable and durable. These high quality tarps are more eco-friendly than poly and vinyl tarps and are resistant to water, mildew and rot. A canvas tarp is a great choice to cover stationary objects that need protection combined with a breathable tarp fabric, such as equipment or supplies.
MyTarp.com offers five main colors to choose from when looking for a canvas tarp: white, tan, green, brown and olive drab. There are also four grades, allowing for a choice between standard, heavy duty, super duty and flame retardant. Yet another option gives customers the opportunity to customize their canvas tarps utilizing such information as tarp color, canvas tarp fabric and grommet requirements, all with a fast one week turnaround time.
In addition, more canvas fabrics are now available including natural cotton canvas fabrics, duck canvas fabrics and colored canvas fabrics. The canvas fabric colors include red, blue and black. These colors, however, are not waterproof or water resistant. In contrast, duck canvas is made from 100% natural cotton canvas and is not treated with chemicals for ultimate water resistance. All duck canvas seams are double-stitched, resulting in a much stronger and longer lasting canvas. It is available in a wide range of fabric weights including #12, #10, #8 and #4 duck canvas.
