Since Network Inventory Advisor 3.8, it's possible to build inventory report for selected group of nodes, not only for the whole network. It's extremely convenient when you monitor several networks. Among other improvements in the network building features we want to mention the possibility to import nodes from Active Directory organizational units, add new nodes from a text file and export nodes into internal format for backup, copying, transfer, sharing and other purposes.
The software inventory improvement also became the subject of development of the new version of Network Inventory Advisor. This time it includes even more items available for the software audit (such as Windows Firewall and Windows Defender details, IE version, product key, serial number and other details) and some additional opportunities for effective software report building.
