Web Designer and Author Christopher Buecheler attempts to spread the word about a recent consumer nightmare by using the internet to tell his story.

June 23, 2010 (FPRC) -- If a company never notifies a customer that their purchase has gone through, and actively denies that any such purchase exists on a subsequent phone conversation, is it reasonable to charge the customer $1,490.00 for that purchase? Christopher Buecheler and his wife Charlotte don't think so, and he has built a website specifically to express their displeasure about the situation, and to allow others to do the same.
PricelineStoleMyMoney.com has been opened up to visitors on the web. The site features both a summary and a detailed time-line of events in the Buechelers' struggle with travel-booking website Priceline, well known for their 'Name Your Own Price' feature.
'We're not expecting to ever see the money again,' Buecheler stated. 'This is more a matter of principle: I don't feel that Priceline has acted reasonably, and I want other people to know about the situation. As a Web Designer, using the internet to disseminate information comes naturally to me, so I decided to create a website that told our story.'
In addition to the information about the Buechelers' difficulties with Priceline, the website also features a guest-book where users can post their own thoughts, comments, and experiences with Priceline. Buecheler is hoping to attract visitors via word of mouth, social web applications like Facebook and Twitter, and media outlets like Consumerist.com.
