The Southerners South East Asian Invitational is being held on 18th and 19th September 2010 in Bangkok. This international netball tournament promises to be very exciting and one of the best you will ever see. Players from all over the world will be vying for a place in the finals.

August 3, 2010 (FPRC) -- The Southerners are an informal group of ex-pats and Thai nationals who have formed a non-commercial club in Bangkok. They all enjoy a game of sport in a nice, friendly atmosphere. They have teams who play in various sports including cricket, rugby and, of course, netball. The group was initially started by a group of Aussies and Kiwis but now boasts members from Thailand and every other part of the world.
If you feel that you'd like to join they are always looking for new members. Whether you are an experienced player or not you are encouraged to join their netball teams. The Southerners have players at all levels of ability and offer everything from social to competitive games. Inside the NIST Sports Complex they play on air conditioned courts and also compete in many international tournaments. In the past they have toured both Vietnam and Hong Kong.
If you are thinking of travelling to Central Bangkok for this event you can use their very good public transport system. However, if you are thinking of staying close to the venue then a Bangkok hotel is always near to hand. There are hotels that will cater for your every need whether you prefer luxurious or more basic.
