August 5, 2010 (FPRC) -- Homemakers Expo 2010 will feature a range of products for visitors looking for advice on home improvement and the latest styles to furnish their homes.
Now in its 15th year, the show will be divided into specialist home product areas including a décor and accessories area where people can view cutting edge trends and contemporary looks.
The Sound Emporium will feature companies offering the most recent innovations in home entertainment, sound distribution and digital imaging products. In addition, for environmentally conscious home owners, the Green Living area will be dedicated to household goods that have a low carbon footprint.
The exhibition is open to the trade and members of the public and runs for four days from 2nd to 5th September 2010 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). The show attracts around 110,000 visitors annually and as such is likely to cause an increase in demand for accommodation from visitors looking for a hotel in Cape Town closest to the centre.
A new exhibition at this year’s event includes the d’Vine Life section where attendees can sample wine from some of South Africa’s best vineyards as well as a selection of cheeses, olive oils and other food related products for the home.
Homemakers Expo opens from 10:00 to 21:00 Thursday to Saturday. Sunday is open from 10:00 to 18:00. Tickets cost 50 South African Rand for adults, pensioners R30 and children under 12 are free.
