August 9, 2010 (FPRC) -- The Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia has sponsored this annual fair since its inception and promises a wonderful schedule of events providing fun and entertainment for the whole family.
More than 400,000 visitors passed through the Claremont Showground last year and at least that many are expected to attend this year.
There is something for everyone at the Perth Royal Show, from agricultural demonstrations and livestock shows to delicious foods and handmade crafts. Numerous exhibitors and vendors will be present, offering Western Australia’s very best products and services.
The Smoke-Free Perth Royal Show will take place at Claremont Showground, just 10 miles from the Perth Central Business District. The Showground has its own public transportation stop, so getting to and from the venue is quick and easy.
Doors open each day at 9am and close at 9pm, though there are a few exceptions: The carnival midway is open until 11pm nightly. The dairy pavilion closes at 7pm, and the IGA Fresh from WA Pavilion closes at 8pm.
Tickets for the 2010 Smoke-Free Perth Royal Show are not yet available, and a final schedule of events is expected to be published in August.
