August 10, 2010 (FPRC) -- Running for five days, from 9th-13th September 2010, the exhibition will showcase the best in domestic Korean art as well as a host of international art pieces from galleries worldwide.
In 2009 the fair displayed approximately 4,600 pieces of art which was the result of work from 122 domestic galleries and 46 from overseas.
The event is now in its ninth year and 2010’s exhibition will see art on display in a variety of mediums from photos and media art to sculptures and paintings.
People staying at hotels in Seoul can also look forward to a special display from artists from the UK. Every year organizers of the art fair ask a guest country to showcase some of the best domestic talent from their nation. This year’s event will feature art from the UK.
The art fair will be taking place at the COEX Korea exhibition center. With 64,000 art enthusiasts attending last year hotels in Seoul are bound to be busy.

The event has been organized by the Galleries Association of Korea. Doors open from 11:00am – 20:00, Thursday to Sunday (9th-12th) and last admission is at 19:00. On the Monday (13th) admission will be from 11:00am to 17:00 with last admission at 16:00.
