Top greeting cards manufacturer, Pear Tree Greetings, launches a new 'Pen to Paper' blogger contest to display the power of the written word. Weekly winners receive $50 towards Pear Tree Greetings Christmas cards or other holiday cards.

In an effort to show the meaning of a personalized card in a digital world, Pear Tree Greetings recently announced its 'Pen to Paper' challenge for its Pearista bloggers.

Pearistas who take the 'Pen to Paper' challenge simply have to handwrite a note once a week for four weeks. Inside each card they will include a blank note card and envelope, inviting their recipient to mail their own personalized note to another contact.

Beyond simply sending a note for four weeks, Pearistas must then dedicate a blog post about the note writing experience. Bloggers can share what the note looked like, what the recipient’s reaction was or even how they felt writing the card.

In addition to the reward of keeping the tradition alive of written communication and paying it forward, Pearistas will also have the chance to win $50 towards Pear Tree Greetings Christmas cards. Once per week a blogger will be selected as a winner based on their blog post.
