Legal Club Of America® Pledges $100,000 To The Breast Cancer Research Foundation
Legal Club of America pledges $100,000 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation to help find a cure. Legal Club of America reviews prospective donations before pledging, and determined that 85% of all donations goes towards funding research.

August 18, 2010 (FPRC) -- SUNRISE, FL -- Legal Club of America, a nationwide program designed to bring access to discounted legal services to anyone with membership in the Club, pledges $100,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The pledge helps the Foundation continue its goal of finding a cure for breast cancer.
For the past 15 years, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation has helped fund research that saves lives and significantly improves the quality of care and survivor rates. Last year, 88 cents out of every dollar donated went directly into research and awareness programs. To improve the Foundation's recognition and raise awareness, Legal Club of America has incorporated the logo on its signs, packaging and other promotional materials.
"We're pleased to partner with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Cancer and breast cancer in particular, touches nearly every family in the United States and we can't think of a more deserving organization for our donation. It is the only breast cancer organization to receive an A+ rating from the American Institute of Philanthropy and the only cancer organization that currently holds this rating," said Brett A. Merl, President and CEO of Legal Club of America.
There are a variety of issues customers can resolve with Legal Club of America. Complaints such as bankruptcy, civil litigation cases and family law issues can be easily taken care of by plan attorneys. Club members can also take advantage of free simple and living will preparation, document reviews, initial face-to-face consultations, and assistance with solving INS and welfare problems, all by a qualified attorney. If club members need assistance with further legal matters, plan attorneys are contracted to work at a fixed low rate of $125 an hour or 40% off their usual fee, whichever is greater.
In addition to these legal services, Legal Club of America has also created the Family Protection Plan. The plan provides members with access to professionals who can assist with identity theft recovery, tax advice and preparation, financial education, credit counseling and LifeEvents® Counseling.
