December 15, 2010 - New York (FPRC) -- Richard Goeglein, Chairman of Pinnacle
Entertainment, Inc. and former CEO of Harrah’s Hotels and Casinos has joined The Board of Veteran CEOs (BoV) as the Vice Chairman. After 1 year of serving as an Advisory Member to the BoV, he has committed to support growth efforts for the BoV. As an Advisory Member in the past, he served as a coach and mentor to middle market CEOs who are members of the BoV. Currently, his focus will be to recruit retired CEOs of Fortune 1000s who will serve as advisory members as well as support strategy development and execution.
He will also have a focus on recruiting sitting CEOs of midsize to large companies to become members.
Mr. Goeglein will continue to provide advice to members of the BoV. However, his executive expertise and network will become a valuable asset to the BoV’s growth strategy.
With 40+ years as an entrepreneur and executive in industries such as gaming, travel, hospitality, and several others, Mr. Goeglein possesses a rare class of
refined wisdom that spans decades of experience. His ability to leverage that experience will allow the BoV to meet its 3-5 year growth expectations to serve midsize CEOs throughout the US.
Mr. Goeglein believes the BoV is a great platform for retired CEOs to give back. By giving back, sitting CEOs of midsize companies have an opportunity to learn from the successes and failures of former CEOs who have seen various economic and competitive cycles.
