Australia's First Public Fast Charger To Be Unveiled At Mitsubishi

February 2, 2011 (FPRC) -- Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited (MMAL) will unveil the nation’s first ever, public electric vehicle fast charger at the company’s head office in Adelaide on Wednesday February 2nd.
The newly installed fast charger unit is believed to be the first of its kind open for public use in the Southern Hemisphere and can charge the Mitsubishi i-MiEV battery to 80 per cent capacity in just 30 minutes.
Attendees will include senior representatives from Adelaide’s i-MiEV owners, along with their vehicles, as well as VIPs, guests, and Mitsubishi employees.
