DirectRooms.com announces that basketball wizards, The Harlem Globe Trotters will be playing an exclusive game in Aberdeen towards the end of April and is the only chance fans can see the stars play in Scotland before heading off on the rest of their world tour.

March 8, 2011 (FPRC) -- One of the special features of the game will be the introduction of the new four point shot which is an invention by the Globe Trotters and if it proves to be popular may be introduced into the official game. The game represents the first time the shot has been played in Scotland and was first trialled during the American tour at the end of last year. The new method of scoring involves four spots which are positioned beyond the three point line, near the half way line and a total of 35 feet away from the basket, making the shot exceptionally difficult.
As well as the game players can be seen performing mesmerising feats of ball handling including ball spinning, dribbling and trick passes. There’ll be a variety of tricks shots and stunts to entertain audiences as well spectacular slam dunks in which the players literally seem to fly through the air. The slam dunk was actually invented by the team as a way of scoring and since then the Globe Trotters have been responsible for a number of moves which are used in the game today.
The action will be tipping off from 19:30 on 27th April 2011 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre and the world recognition of the players is set to cause plenty of fans to book hotels Aberdeen near the centre.
