April 26, 2011 (FPRC) -- The initiative is designed to appeal to property investors and is being offered at their new development in Essex called Axis, which is located in the centre of Basildon. With the initiative on offer, investors can secure a buy-to-let property with the additional benefit of either a guaranteed rental return during the first year or a furniture package.
Axis is a development of one and two bedroom apartments and is located in the centre of one of Essex’s significant commercial areas.
The town of Basildon is currently undergoing a major change and upgrade with £1 billion being spent on a regeneration programme, which also means that there will an opportunity for strong capital growth in property in Basildon. The regeneration and refurbishment includes 3650 new homes in Essex, a range of new commercial and retail premises and new facilities including Basildon Sporting Village.
The new development in Essex is ideal for people looking to rent as it is located in a central location and near to shopping and leisure facilities, main road routes and rail links into London.
Rebecca Littler, Sales and Marketing Director for Barratt Eastern Counties said: 'With the completion of Basildon Sporting Village and the regeneration of the town now underway, Basildon is already benefitting from local investment. Securing a property at Axis offers investors two levels of opportunity; its great central location close to transport links means it has strong rental potential.'
Barratt is also offering property investors considering one of these new homes in Essex a fixtures and fittings warranty which will cover items likely to go wrong in the property for five years after purchase, as well as a ten year structural National House Building Council (NHBC) warranty. Both of these warranties will minimise the potential costs for repairs and breakages for property investors when renting to tenants.
