Old Bridge, NJ ( FPRC ) April 29, 2011 - This 6th year of Bridgefest will be bigger and better than ever! In addition to Francesca Battistelli, musical guests include Brandon Heath, Downhere, and Dan Macaulay. Additionally, nine BridgeFM teachers will be sharing God's Word and spending time with listeners throughout the 2-day event on Friday and Saturday, June 24th and 25th. This year those that purchase the all-inclusive package will have FREE access to the beach for both Friday & Saturday! Additionally, for the first time ever, many Ocean Grove businesses will be offering everyone wearing a Bridgefest wristband exclusive offers and discounts through the Bridgefest Participating Merchant Program! This is the largest and longest running Christian Summer Festival of its kind held on the Jersey Shore. Attendance at this event has exceeded 10,000 in previous years. Bridgefest kicks off on Friday with teachings from 9 am to 6 pm, a youth rally from 2 to 4 pm, followed by a Bridge FM teachers 'meet-and-greet' starting at 6 pm. The concert & messages kick off in the Great Auditorium at 7:15 pm.
On Saturday, the fun moves to Ocean Grove's beautiful beach starting at 8 am with free surf lessons, followed by games, inflatables, food, vendors, music, teachings and an ocean baptism.
