June 1, 2011 (FPRC) -- The new developments in Scotland start at £125,000 and include two bedroom starter terraced homes located at Auchterwynd at Wishaw which is a commuter-belt area outside of Glasgow.
The new homes are offered to the market with the additional benefit of a shared equity scheme provided by Bett Homes which means that the buyer can purchase the new homes for £100,00 with the £25,000 balance remaining as an equity loan payable either up to ten years or until the property is sold.
Bett Homes have already sold properties at this new development site consisting of three and four bedroom detached and link detached properties. However, this new phase of two bedroom terraced homes will allow first time buyers the affordability to purchase a property in this location.
'This is the first time that smaller starter homes have been available on this development so we are expecting interest levels to be high now that the new phase has gone on sale,' says Margaret Davidson, Sales Manager for Bett Homes. 'Our shared equity option means that there has never been a better time to get a foot on the property ladder.'
The new homes at Wishaw offer families a pleasant lifestyle in rural surroundings, and is three miles from Motherwell and fifteen miles from Glasgow city centre. There is also a good selection of schools, leisure facilities and historic places to visit close by.
Buyers who have an existing home to sell can also use Bett Homes’ part exchange deal designed to help buyers sell and move.
