Social Media Girlfriends, Launches New Site To Educate And Encourage Women Through Media
Friends and co-founders of new site SocialMediaGirlfriends.com, Britt Michaelian and Dabney Porte, reveal their new initiatives to bring together women working towards social media networking and forming social media friendships.

July 21, 2011 (FPRC) -- Britt Michaelian and Dabney Porte want to share that social media is more than just a way to connect with friends, or for businesses to communicate with their customers. Their innovative and unique site, Social Media Girlfriends, invites empowered women to join forces on different social media channels, encouraging and educating each other along the way. With regularly scheduled chats, a specialized Twitter hashtag (#SMgirlfriends), a blog, a Youtube channel and many other ways to connect, Social Media Girlfriends is the newest and hottest place for women to form social media friendships while learning how others succeed in life.
Encouraged by the enthusiastic participation in their first test chat session, Michaelian and Porte realized that they had something the public wanted. The fresh community built within Social Media Girlfriends allows like-minded, enthusiastic women to form relationships with each other, and adds entertainment and support into an educational forum.

The other half of this innovative project is Girlfriend Productions, LLC, which helps to mesh traditional media platforms with social media networking.
