Poker players head to Killarney Poker Festival between 29 September and 2 October 2011
DirectRooms.com announces the 4th Killarney Poker Festival will take place from 29th September to 2nd October at the Irish National Events Centre (INEC) in Killarney.

August 10, 2011 (FPRC) -- To take part as a player in the Killarney Festival registration for the main event will cost E550, but the prize pool is an impressive E250,000. There are also numerous other games or ‘satellites’ for the keen poker player to try their hand. The satellites start from Thursday 29th September and play begins at 19.30 hrs. Entry costs E50 + E10 and includes a re-buy, the player will be given 3,500 starting chips and an 18 minute clock.
Killarney is a popular town in County Kerry in the South West of Ireland. There are many attractions both in the town itself and in the surrounding countryside and, as befits a town geared for tourism and visitors, there are many hotels in Killarney which those attending the Poker Tournament will find useful.
Organised by the promoters, Ladbrokes, the festival has proved to be highly successful in previous years. In 2010, 633 players took part in the main event, leaving Swedish Lars Tomgren as the successful winner, cashing in an impressive E75,000 from a total pool of E300,000.
