New Addictive Fun Word Game 'DooWaru' Released For the iPhone and iPad

August 19, 2011 (FPRC) -- Fu Manchu Media, a new independent mobile development company, has released DooWaru - a whole new concept in word games. Doo-wa-ru, which means 'to find', is a fast-paced word search game with spinning letters, bombs and a relentless clock. The idea is simple, find as many words as you can in the ever moving letter blocks to score high and progress to the next level. DooWaru is available now for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad in the iTunes App Store, where it is listed in the top 5 of the word games category.
DooWaru has two modes of play, Arcade and Quick Play. The first has twenty levels of fun and mayhem with each level increasing more difficult than the one before. In Quick Play mode it is all about the clock. Once you have used your lighting quick fingers to achieve greatness you can post your scores online and see how good you really are.
“DooWaru is our first game and we are, I think, rightly proud of it. The Android version will be out soon and then we have plans for further releases,” said Dave of Fu Manchu Media. “Fu Manchu Media is a new startup but DooWaru demonstrates conclusively what we can achieve.”
Fu Manchu Media was recently formed by four friends who decided to pool their software, design and music talents to create a new independent mobile development company. Leaving the relative security of their day jobs, the pioneering friends aim to make Fu Manchu Media one of the best software development companies in the mobile space. Fu Manchu Media creates games for a variety of digital platforms, smartphones and tablets including Apple iOS and Android devices.
“The idea to create DooWaru came when we needed to find new ways of funding our animated short film ‘Combover for Dinner’ that we have been working on for the past few years,” added Dave. “ The continued success of DooWaru will help us fulfill our dream of completing it.”
Although DooWaru is fun to play and ever-so-slightly addictive, it also has a serious side – it can help improve your spelling and vocabulary. In particular, parents should encourage their children to play DooWaru as it will help them learn while they play. This combination of fun and learning has led to DooWaru being described as like “participating in a spelling bee, while storming the beaches of Normandy!”
