August 24, 2011 (FPRC) -- The new retirement homes are part of an exclusive community development at The Croft, which is located in Bourne. The new homes in Lincolnshire have been built in a joint venture between Keystone Developments and Larkfleet Homes who are two house building organisations in the Lincolnshire area.

The Croft integrates a manor house that exists on the site and will be refurbished to offer a range of exclusive amenities and facilities for residents on the site. A total of 68 one and two bedroom single-storey homes and three bedroom houses have been constructed and there are landscaped grounds, gardens and courtyards on the new development.

To care for the developments’ homes and grounds, an estate manager will be appointed and will be available five days per week to help with residents’ queries and issues. Lincolnshire residents who are keen to find a new property to retire to have shown a keen interest because it means they can live independently within secure grounds, and have the assistance with maintenance and looking after their properties if they need it.

The house builders are also offering a range of initiatives to help buyers move as well as offering buyers a choice of finishing design options which will enable them to personalise their new homes.
Jason Colmer, sales director at Larkfleet, said: 'The Croft is the perfect place to live for people who prefer enjoying life rather than managing a home. Residents really can make their life their own at The Croft and enjoy the freedom to live.'

The Croft is located in the heart of Bourne with easy access to the town’s facilities. A medical centre, shops, public transport and restaurants and cafes are all easily accessible.
The retirement population is the fastest growing age group in the UK today with the current population standing at around 11.8 million.
