AdvantaPure(R) to Highlight Single Use Systems & Leak-Proof Molded Components at Fall 2011 Pharmaceutical & Bioprocess Trade Shows
High purity tubing manufacturer AdvantaPure will exhibit at five trade shows this fall to showcase its single use systems and components for the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and bioprocess industries. Shows include Interphex Puerto Rico and the ISPE Annual Meeting where AdvantaPure will have product solutions on hand for fluid processing applications. September 28, 2011 (FPRC) -- AdvantaPure, the manufacturer of high purity tubing, hose, molded components, and single use systems, plans to exhibit at three key trade shows this fall involving the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and bioprocess industries.
The major shows – Interphex Puerto Rico, the ISPE (International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers) 2011 Annual Meeting, and the BioProcess International Conference and Exhibit – cover a variety of functions and phases in the biopharm and pharmaceutical sectors. Fluid transfer and processing is AdvantaPure’s specialty.
“Fall is typically an active time for pharma industry shows,” stated David Schwass, AdvantaPure’s Director of Sales. “They’re an excellent place to meet with customers, prospects, and peers. It’s also a good way to learn about the problems and successes people are having with their current fluid processes and about future projects.”

Single use systems for batch filling and sampling will be highlighted by AdvantaPure at all five events. They offer leak-proof molded connections that eliminate most barbed fittings and the entrapment issues associated with them. The systems are manufactured and assembled in class 7, ISO-certified clean rooms from tubing, molded components, and options such as filters, bags, aseptic connectors, bottles, and the company’s BioClosure(TM) container closures. Users can select platinum-cured silicone or AdvantaFlex(R) TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) for its excellent pumping, welding and sealing characteristics. Vaccine manufacturers, drug producers, and vitamin and supplement makers use single use systems to reduce the risk of cross contamination, decrease production downtime, simplify cleaning validations, and reduce costs.
Other products on display will include DocuLink(TM) (patent pending), an innovative labeling method to distinguish silicone manifolds after installation, and GammaTag(R) gamma-irradiatable RFID tags. Information on the company’s line of flexible process hoses in silicone, fluoropolymer, and rubber will also be at each exhibition.
