Need A New Use For Stanchions? Siegel Offers Display Dos & Don'ts (Hint, It's Not What You Think)

Siegel Display Products, a company known as a source of brochure display or point of purchase display products, wants its customers to know that it does not recommend using Siegel products as surfboards, clipboards or computers.

October 19, 2011 (FPRC) -- MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- Siegel Display Products is known for selling high quality trade show displays products such as a brochure display or table top display. However, recently the company has learned that some customers might be tempted to use the products incorrectly.

Siegel Display Products wants to make it clear that it does not recommend that customers use a table top display as a surfboard, a clipboard, a PC or as a dinner table. Using the display as a surfboard, for instance, could cause serious damage to the table top display and leave the surfer sputtering around in the water as they try to keep from sinking. Using the display as a personal computer is also not recommended since there's no where to plug in a power cord.

Proper uses of products like a pop up or table top display include using it at a job fair, a college recruiting event, trade shows, for in-house corporate promotions like health fairs, new product demonstrations and more.

"We know that our customers aren't actually using their trade show displays as surfboards, but we wanted to show off our lighter side and show how we can help customers think outside of the box. If you're interested in seeing how a trade show display can pull double duty for your business, give us a call. We're experts at coming up with new and creative ways to use our products, and we recently even tried to get one of our coworkers to use a pair of stanchions as crutches after surgery," said Jason Foss, customer service representative for Siegel Display Products.

Although the company is probably best known for its trade show displays, customers can find a point of purchase display, banner stands, digital displays and even one of a kind tote bags made out of recycled billboards from a local Minnesota company.

"We're always looking for fun products and innovative ways to use products we currently offer. There's something great about repurposing a trade show display and thinking innovatively when it comes to finding a new way to use it. Although we'll never recommend that you use your table top display as a surfboard or a dinner table, we might just be able to help you think of a new way to use it. Give us a call and we'll brainstorm together on how you can get the biggest bang out of your trade show display buck," said Foss.
