Before its purchase the maximum reasonable capacity for photo scanning was around 1000 photos a week. With the purchase of the Kodak PS810 Photo Scanning System their maximum capacity for photo scanning has increased to more like 1000 photos a day.
The Kodak PS810 Photo Scanning System gently feeds photos, one at a time, passed a 600dpi scanner, copying each image in under 4 seconds.
This has helped Piciscan to decrease their prices for photo scanning to make them amongst the most competitive available. The photo scanning service from PiciScan is priced from just 10p a photo and at the most is 20p a photo.
Every photo is carefully scanned, rotated the correct way and has colour correction applied to it. The results can be better than your original photos.
To benefit from the best price, a customers’ order must include more than 2000 photos. But experience has shown us that this is not unreasonable. Recent enquiries have numbered in excess of 3000 photos to be scanned to DVD.
