October 31, 2011 (FPRC) -- The financial trading site, SpreadBets, has introduced a brand new spread betting charts guide. The guide, introduced last week, has been released in response to the ongoing increase in the popularity of financial spread betting.
The growth of the financial derivative can probably be put down to a range of factors. Perhaps it is because investors are looking at new ways of investing due to the current financial crisis, perhaps it is due to the increased publicity which it is receiving.
Many, however, feel that it is due to the range of ways in which traders can speculate via spread betting. Like many derivatives, traders can trade on a wide range of spread betting markets, including commodities, shares, stock markets and forex rates.
Investors can also trade on a range of devices. Although the ability to spread bet online has been around for some time now, recent innovations have freed spread bettors from the office. Spread betting on handheld devices such as smartphones and tablets is now widely available.
The debate goes on as to whether spread betting is a better option than more traditional forms of trading; due to the nature of spread betting, risks are higher, meaning losses can exceed the initial deposit.

For the more experienced investors there is a section that takes an in-depth look at technical analysis. This section of the guide provides information on areas such as support/resistance levels, trading with the trend, moving averages, Bollinger bands and parabolic SAR.
