November 21, 2011 (FPRC) -- COLLEGEVILLE AND PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - The Collegeville and Philadelphia dental implants provider Dr. David DiGiallorenzo recently announced the planned opening of a wellness center.
The center is at 184 W. Main St. in Collegeville, is scheduled to open in January. Service offerings include medical facials, organic dermal fillers, acupuncture, cranial-sacral therapy, massage, heavy metal detoxification, infrared sauna, massage therapy, reflexology and reiki.

"Oral health and overall health have an intricate relationship, and there are many ways to address both areas," says DiGiallorenzo, a dental implants periodontist offering laser periodontal therapy for treating gum disease. "This wellness center will offer multiple therapies to improve one's well-being." Periodontal disease is a chronic inflammatory disease and numerous patients are at risk for other complications including heart disease. Diabetics and those who are obese, have high blood pressure and high cholesterol risk getting periodontal disease.

"Oral health and systemic health are vital for optimal health," DiGiallorenzo says. “We take a whole-body approach to periodontics by offering stress reduction, detoxification and treatments to feel and look better."

Since some patients go through full oral detoxification, it's a good opportunity to balance the system and cleanse all organs' systems. Heavy metals are present in nearly everyone's bodies because of eating non-organic foods, smoking, cooking in aluminum cookware or foil, or because of amalgam dental fillings, according Natural News. DiGiallorenzo recommends detox during dental reconstruction to remove metals in the gastrointestinal tract and to balance the body.
