January 15, 2012 (FPRC) -- The seminar will outline the best way of structuring websites and how to organise information so that it is easily accessible. It will also explain the best text format to use online and what techniques are most effective in the styling of online written text.

Writing for the Internet: New Approaches to Producing Concise and Compelling Texts outlines how things have changed with the explosion of the internet; even down to the style of writing and means of communication required by companies. Text needs to be concise and simple, with a clear message, while information should be stored in such a way that the public have no problem accessing it and finding out what they need to know.

As with any area of business, the different audiences who will be reading the text need to be carefully targeted. This seminar will explain how to target them efficiently and teach participants to write a short written piece that adheres to the guidelines of internet writing. It will also explore social media platforms and how best to make use of them.

The likes of Ms. Sylvia Archmann, a seconded national expert at the European Insitiute of Public Administration and Mr. Howard Hudson, an editor and communications coordinator, will be giving lectures. This two day event is not to be missed.

Those visiting Maastricht for the event can stay in one of the nearby Maastricht hotels. As many are expected and there are a limited number of seats available in the seminar, early booking for both hotels and seminar tickets is advised. The cost of the seminar is €750.
