New Homes Launched in Kent
A new phase of contemporary homes has been released by a home builder in Kent.

January 27, 2012 (FPRC) -- The new homes in Kent have been launched by Taylor Wimpey and are located in Dartford at their development site called The Bridge. The new development features a range of one and two bedroom apartments and two, three and four bedroom houses, some with views across the River Thames.
The new developments in Kent are arranged around open, communal space for residents to enjoy. Taylor Wimpey is also offering their Easystart scheme for buyers of new homes at The Bridge. The scheme will enable buyers to purchase a property at the development with an 80% mortgage whilst owning 100% of the property. Buyers can put down a 5% deposit and a 15% equity loan is then given which is interest free for 10 years.
Another scheme is available that is jointly provided by Dartford Borough Council and Taylor Wimpey. The Shared Equity Scheme is available on some of the plots at The Bridge and offers first time buyers the opportunity to buy a new home in Kent for 75% of the total purchase price. The remaining amount of 25% is an equity loan that is loaned over 25 years. The scheme also includes buyers putting down a 5% deposit. Under the scheme, a two-bedroom house costs from £141,375, a three-bedroom townhouse from £154,313, or a four-bedroom house from £183,375 based on 75% of full purchase price.
Buyers will be able to register with Taylor Wimpey to secure the new homes at the site and as the new plots become available at The Bridge, they will be able to select and reserve their homes off-plan.
The Bridge development is located on the outskirts of Dartford and is 16 miles from central London. It is accessible to local amenities, transport links and road routes.
