February 5, 2012 (FPRC) -- Garden City, New York - The 2012 ecommbytes "Sellers Choice Awards" today placed The Internet Antique Shop (TIAS.com) among the top 10 online marketplaces for merchants to sell with. Included among the 2012 top 10 winners are well known Web sites such as Amazon.com®, eBay® & Etsy®.
For the third annual EcommerceBytes.com Sellers Choice Awards, over 7,200 online sellers participated by rating the marketplaces on which they sell on criteria including profitability and customer service. TIAS.com ranked among the top 10 sites selected this year. This is the second major ecommerce award presented to TIAS in recent months. About.com presented TIAS with their "Readers Choice" award as the "Best Place to Buy Antiques & Collectibles Online" in 2011.
Over the past year, TIAS has made significant design, programming and policy changes to their Web site resulting increased sales and higher customer satisfaction. The Web site now guarantees all online purchases from TIAS merchants for up to $500 of the purchase price and also offers shoppers a toll free customer service number so that they can call and talk to a customer service representative for any questions or issues they may have regarding their orders or the Web site.
