Quantum Marketing Group Announces Flexible Fiberglass Composite Pipeline Markers That Improves Pipeline Identification & Location

Quantum Marketing has introduced and alternative to conventional metal post and signs for pipeline identification that improves safety.

Anaheim, CA (FPRC) January 27, 2006 -- Quantum Flex™ composite flexible pipeline markers identify underground pipelines and other utilities quickly and cost effectively. These composite markers can help reduce exposure to accidental dig-ins and service interruptions by quickly and clearly identifying buried pipelines, valves, cables and other underground utilities.

The unique fiberglass composite construction stands up to the toughest field conditions. Quantum Flex™ flexible pipeline markers can rebound to their original upright position after vehicle impacts, livestock contact and vandalism in virtually all weather conditions. The fire resistant characteristics of the material will withstand small grass fires and controlled ditch burns. - Will not soften and melt like plastic markers.

These markers were developed using advanced high tech composite materials which are ultraviolet resistant and temperature stable. Unlike thermoplastic markers, they will not soften when exposed to heat or embrittle in cold temperatures. The one piece design incorporates the post and sign into one, streamline highly visible marker.

Quantum Flex markers stay on the job longer with lower maintenance requirements. The strong composite material is 75% lighter than steel and 10 times stronger than typical thermoplastics. The markers easily store flat and transports to the job site with lower overall cost. They are available in a wide variety of colors and lengths. Solid color impregnated throughout the marker. Never needs painting. They will not fade and crack like typical thermoplastic or rust or rot like metal or wood.

The reinforced composite design makes installation is fast and easy. A typical installation takes less than one minute using a hand-held post driver even through the toughest soil. The markers are simply driven into the ground like a steel fence post. The nearly 4 inch wide profile accommodates a warning message that is easy to see and understand.
