Europe’s largest photo paper processing and photographic gift items range reaches Spain

January 31, 2006 (FPRC) -- FotoInsight of Cambridge provides photo processing and a range of gift items to consumers and businesses in Europe through its website http://www.fotoinsight.co.uk/ since November 2003. Today the company announced the start of its Spanish service http://www.fotoinsight.es. Over its first two years the business has expanded, selling photographic paper prints in the UK and 20 European countries in four languages. The company started a German operation in June and an Italian in October 2005, apart from its original English language services. The FotoInsight photo processing service is backed by 19 production sites, strategically located throughout Europe. Customers can take advantage of the same low delivery charge to all 20 European destinations. Managing Director Klaas Brumann says: “Spain is Europe’s most popular holiday destination and our new printed photo book is ideal to browse, show and preserve the best holiday snaps. We expect a many orders for holiday photos as well as photo gifts shipments from and to Spain. We think Spanish consumers and businesses will particularly appreciate our international delivery capabilities and wide range of photographic gift items.”

Apart from processing digital images onto real photographic paper, FotoInsight is sourcing a wide range of cotton T-shirts, sweat shirts, pillow cases and linen tote bags to which it applies the customer’s photograph. According to Brumann record sales of FotoInsight’s photographic gift items range have “exploded over Christmas”.

According to the FotoInsight management, the online service stands out for the many conveniences it provides to its customers, who can upload most digital image formats and even entire ZIP and RAR compressed folders through an Active-X site for photographic calendars and printed photobooks. In addition, FotoInsight caters for all mayor operating systems, including Macintosh as well as Firefox and Netscape browser users with special upload facilities with no need for additional software.
