Hackers respond to the defacing of Israeli websites

Hackers responded to the defacing of Israeli websites by the Moroccan group. Hundreds of Moroccan websites erased.

July 17, 2006 (FPRC) -- Followers of the controversial author and politician Obadiah Shoher retaliated against the Moroccan hackers (Team Evil) who defaced hundreds of Israeli websites on June 28 this year. 380 websites hosted by the Moroccan provider Omihost.com were completely erased, and their front pages read, We support SamsonBlinded. Team Good.

The Shoher’s group denies prior knowledge of the cyberattack, but praises the hackers’ efforts. The Samson Blinded’s founder Obadiah Shoher said, “That was a laudable application of the eye for an eye principle. Breaking the websites is a relatively simple job, and I’m sure that our unknown friends are prepared to conduct wholesale destruction of websites in the particular Islamic countries should the Moroccans deface any more Israeli sites.”

The group formed around the Shoher’s manifesto Samson Blinded: A Machiavellian Perspective on the Middle East Conflict. Google banned the book from its ad program for “unacceptable content,” and Amazon deleted all reviews. More than 90,000 people from 72 countries read the book on Internet. In the Samson Blinded, Shoher suggests, among other measures, shutting down Islamist websites. Advocating political rationalism, he deplores both Jewish and Muslim myths, and argues for efficiency and separating politics from moralism. His motto is, an eye for an eye.

Obadiah Shoher is a pen name taken for security reasons, and his identity remains secret. He served in several public offices, managed election campaigns, and leads a political party. Shoher, uniquely among the right, argues against the current attack on Lebanon.
