Augustinian Press Announces 2007 Christmas Card Series
Villanova, PA – The Augustinian Press is pleased to announce the release of its 2007 line of Christmas cards.
September 24, 2007 (FPRC) -- Villanova, PA – The Augustinian Press is pleased to announce the release of its 2007 line of Christmas cards.
These beautiful cards were created by artists Brother Jack Stagliano, O.S.A., and Fr. Richard Cannuli, O.S.A, and all proceeds support the care of elderly and infirm friars of the Province of Saint Thomas of Villanova.
“We are blessed to have the talents of world-class artists in our midst,” says Fr. Donald F. Reilly, O.S.A., Prior Provincial of the Province of Saint Thomas of Villanova. “These beautiful cards are an extension of our Augustinian ministry, and are sure to bring the joy of the Christmas season to others.”
The cards come in a variety of styles including oil, watercolor and photography. There are also a variety of subjects: hand-crafted, nativity scenes, Madonna and child, Saint Nicholas icons and general holiday scenes.
The Augustinian Press publishes books, artwork, cards and music rich in Augustinian tradition. Augustinian Press was founded in 1983 by the Augustinian Friars of the Province of St. Thomas of Villanova (Eastern Province) to promote knowledge, appreciation and understanding of St. Augustine and the Augustinian Legacy.
