Prize Winners Lap Up Luxury At Sofitel Fiji

One lucky couple recently spent a week living in luxury at Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa, after winning the grand prize run in conjunction with New Zealand's 2007 Dancing With the Stars television series earlier this year.

Fiji (FPRC) October 29, 2007 -- Liz and Joe Jessup of Palmerston North won return flights from Wellington to Nadi, seven nights accommodation in the Presidential Suite, a jet ski safari with Adrenalin Water Sports and a 'Pamper Package' at the resort's Mandara Day Spa, which included a full body traditional Fijian Bobo massage and a manicure and pedicure.

"Our 'Pamper Package' was truly that," says Liz. "Joe was so relaxed during the massage that he kept drifting off to sleep and snoring. He was a little hesitant about his manicure and pedicure and drew the line at getting his nails painted!"

Liz says they were thrilled with the prize and it definitely didn't disappoint, with perfect weather and a swim in the huge lagoon pool to start and finish each day.

"Joe and I had an awesome time and can't speak highly enough of the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa, it was beautiful and the service top notch. I would return at the drop of a hat -- I guess I'll have to keep an eye out for more competitions to enter!"

Accor Hotels & Resorts provided several accommodation prizes during the third season of the hugely popular Dancing With The Stars show in April. During each episode, audience members had the opportunity to enter the weekly draw online for a short break at different hotels in various locations around New Zealand. On the eighth and final week, the amazing luxury getaway to Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa was revealed.

Accor sponsored Dancing With The Stars by providing hotel accommodation for the celebrity 'Stars', dancers, judges and crew at the Novotel Capital Wellington and Hotel Ibis Wellington.
