Sudoku Goes Web 2.0

A new Web 2.0 site, SudokuJunction.com, has been launched, allowing members to upload, share and play Sudoku puzzles over the Web.

November 6, 2007 (FPRC) -- A new Web 2.0 style website for Sudoku players has been launched at www.sudokujunction.com, allowing members to upload, share and play Sudoku puzzles across the web.

If someone, for instance, wants to share his favorite Sudoku puzzles, or to create a totally new unique puzzle all he has to do is to upload the puzzle through an easy to use uploading feature over the site. During the uploading procedure the puzzle author determines puzzle size, difficult level and may add a personal note about the puzzle. As soon as the upload ends the puzzle immediately becomes available for anyone to play over the web. Players may comment and rate the puzzles over the site, and add them to their favorite puzzles list.

The site supports a wide variety of puzzle sizes and levels, from small 4x4 puzzles which suitable for children and newbies to 6x6,9x9 and the jigantic16x16 in which the professional Sudoku players would find interesting.

In order to ease the process of finding suitable puzzles, the site has a puzzle search function, in which you can use to quickly search the different results and sort them by number of views, date of release and rating.

"My vision is to create a truly web 2.0 style website dedicated to Sudoku players. People love to create and to share. Sudoku players are no different,”said Keynan Goichman, founder of sudokujunction.com. " We meet a lot of people who want to create and share their own puzzles. Sudoku Junction gives them exactly that option”.

Sudoku Junction has a strong sense of a community, as in a any other social network. Every member can create his own profile, in which he can tell about himself, upload his picture, add other members to his friends list and contact other one another through site mailing system.
