May 10, 2008 (FPRC) -- Sarasota, FL May 10, 2008 -- IFG Insurance retracts its announcement on May 7, 2008 that inaccurately announces that the Company has a relationship with National Financial Partners Corp. (NYSE:NFP).

IFG Insurance has not partnered with NFP nor with its life settlements joint venture, nor is any such partnership arrangement expected. IFG sincerely regrets this misrepresentation. At the request of NFP, IFG Insurance has removed the release from its web site and issued this retraction.
